This Projectile Launcher can launch the plastic marbles that it comes with a maximum of 8 meters. The launch tube has five speed settings that can lock into place to assure consistent launches at the same velocities. There is a protractor printed on the base to measure the angle of launch. A photogate (not included) can be attached near the mouth of the launcher to accurately record initial velocity. Measure initial conditions of the launcher, and predict range, max height, or flight time. Set up a coffee can target and see if students can get it in using only initial measurements and calculations!
